Welcome back to Ten Week's of challenges! If you don't fancy yourself a writer and have no interest in beginning, scroll on down for your challenge.

Ten Weeks of Writer's Prep
Week Four: Keeping Notes!

Hello there Rambler's, and welcome back to your Ten Weeks of Writer's Prep! This time last year, we discussed creating your basic plot (See Here). This year I'm going to throw an idea your way on how to keep track of those plot ideas, characters, quotes, and actions scenes that find their way into your brain all through your day. Trust me, you don't want to rely on your memory to keep track of those ideas until you're no long rushing around!

Different things work for different people, and if you're like me you'll use a little bit of everything depending on what you're doing and what's handy. So here are some ways to jot down those ideas until you need them.

Scrap Paper Notes
Grab yourself whatever paper, napkins, or scraps you can get your hands on and jot those ideas down! Just make sure you don't lose them!

On The Go Texts
On the go running errands and don't have any paper or pens? That's okay! Send a text to your own number with your ideas so they can be stored in a handy spot for you!

Stuck at a Desk Emails
Can't reach for your phone and no way to write something down? Send yourself an email! Make sure to include a common theme in your subject line such as 'book' or the name of a character so that you can easily pull everything up using the search bar later!

and finally... your Handy Dandy Journal!
Now, a lot of my friends live by this. Carry a journal with you everywhere you go so that you always have that one common place to keep your notes and look through later. Too bulky to have on you all the time? Set yourself a reminder every night to go through your scrap papers, texts, and emails so you can transcribe them into your journal before bed!

I hope these ideas help!
Until next week, good luck!

Ten Weeks of Challenges
Week Four: Revise Your Bucket List!

The last time we did a Week Four challenge, we focused on bringing life to our work spaces (See Here). This time around however, I want you to focus on livening up your bucket list. Don't know what that is, check out my previous post on the subject entitled My Mum and the Bucket Listers (See Here).

A lot of us around the world right now, are either under social-distancing protocols, in self-isolation, or even under quarantine. However, just because we can't go out and do as much as we would like right now, doesn't mean we have to stop dreaming! Now is the perfect time to start doing research on classes we wish we could take, they might even be available online during this time! Always wanted to travel somewhere? Now is the time to do your research! Figure out what things you would do while in that country, learn the language, look up the sites, and learn the tips and tricks for traveling there! Always wanted to go do a shark dive? Now is the time to look up where that might be offered, what the costs involved would be, and choose your destination for it!

So get to it Ramblers! If you already have a Bucket List, it's time to give it another look and see if it's missing anything, or perhaps realize you've scratched some things off it! We're seeing that life is short, and precious, let's commit to living ours to the fullest once we make it out the other side of this.

Good luck!
