Small Town Thanks Turned Global Shoutout

Alright Rambler's,

This week, I was going to write about how our environments have the power to impact our mental health however, something just happened that absolutely blew my mind. I was reminded exactly why I love small town life so very much.

The people.

In my small home town, where I have just this weekend past returned to, there lives a group of astounding young citizens who have shown their true colours.

Tonight with sore backs and pain aplenty, my mother and I pulled up to my new place with an SUV full of my stuff. Walking down the street about two hundred feet away from us were half a dozen pre-teens returning from their camping site.  While I was upstairs unlocking my apartment, my mother asked them for help.

Folks, to say they stopped and helped would be  a massive understatement, and a grave disservice to these incredible individuals. They were beyond enthusiastic in their help, eagerly grabbing load after load to carry up three flights of stairs for me. My mother informed me later that they had even RUN up to grab everything. A job that might have taken my mother and a couple friends (I can't do much these days) a full hour and a great deal of additional pain was accomplished in less than ten minutes.

I had nothing on me to offer these individuals at the time, nothing but gratitude and appreciation. Now, I am asking you amazing Rambler's to help me. I would like to see these incredible young men and women identified so that I can thank them in a way that is more fitting of the great favour they did for me tonight. Please, share this post with all of your friends and family so that this message might reach them.

Kids, if you read this, please email me at thebrastreetrambler@gmail.com I would be Honoured if you would allow me to do something for you in return.

To the parents and guardians of these outstanding community members, may you be proud knowing that your boys and girls assisted someone in need without hesitation. They did not know until after the job was done that I had recently injured myself, they had no way of knowing just how deeply their kindness would affect the strangers asking for help.

These are the type of people who will change the world. These kids really are the future, the face of a Better future.

A great big CHEERS to the small town movers with the gigantic hearts, cheers to the Rambler's reading this in 49 countries around the world who are potentially raising or contributing to the raising of more kids just like them,

From a truly grateful Bra Street Rambler,
THANK YOU.
