A New Chapter!
Apologies Ramblers, for dropping off the face of the planet again. As much as I would have loved to be there for everyone during such difficult times, I needed to be there for myself after some significant loss and while dealing with poor health.
The year 2020 brought with it many challenges for a lot of people, with and beyond the pandemic. For me, that came in the form of mysterious health issues, and on May 27th of that year, the loss of someone very important to me. Over the course of the next four weeks, I lost four more people, and in the two years that followed, those numbers reached near a dozen. In that time, my immediate family faced its own hardships and medical emergencies, while my own health continued to spiral downward until I was unable to do most of the things I loved most, things like reading, writing, and research, without increasing my pain to unbearable levels.
Suffice to say, blogging became quite difficult, sometimes impossible. At the end of the day, I had to come to terms with new limitations and get used to prioritizing other things.
However, I'm happy to say that I have bounced back and have been met with new and exciting adventures at every turn.
I'm am delighted to announce one of those adventures! I have started my own business as a Creative Mentor and Certified Life Coach!
Through Harpe Creative Mentoring and Coaching, I seek to help all creators move past their blockages, and adopt the mentality that everything is research because when you view things through a creative lens, you learn that inspiration can be found at every turn. Through the methods I have developed, such as the Ziggurat Strategy for writers, I work to help clients expand their creative process to new horizons.
With that being said, I can now be found on social media through @HarpeCreative or by scanning the QR code below.
I want to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your continued support, even in my absence. I never could have dreamed that my humble little blog would be read by more than close friends, let alone by people in over fifty countries around the world. You have all been incredible, and you are appreciated.
So without further ado, this is me signing off,
Kimberly Harpe

To the man and woman who always made me feel seen and heard, this post as well as this new chapter in my life, is dedicated to my late aunt and uncle, Annette and Ron Poulin.
Together, they filled my life with magic and inspiration, and I now strive to pay that forward.
